The software includes Integrated Development system with built in C compiler. The Sci-tech MICRO-586 board integrates 586 CPU and a high performance ANSI/IEEE 754 compliant 64-bit hardware floating point unit (FPU). The FPU provides arithmetic instructions to handle numeric data and transcendental functions for sine, tangent, logarithms, etc, making this controller useful for intensive computational applications. It is estimated to be 10-50 times faster than software-emulate on an 8/16-bit controller without a FPU.

8086 Microprocessor Trainers
A micro-processor incorporates the functions of a central processing unit (CPU) on a single integrated circuit. The first microprocessors used a word size of only 4 bits, so that the transistors of its logic circuits would fit onto a single part. One or more microprocessors typically serve as the processing elements of a computer system, embedded system, or handheld device. From the humble beginning as the drivers for calculators, the continued increase in processing system from the largest mainframes to the smallest handheld computers now uses a microprocessor at its core. To learn the different features of microprocessor multiple kits are provided. These trainers are manufactured using Bare Board Tested Glass Epoxy SMOBC PCBs and the ICs are mounted on sockets. Exhaustive Manuals with ample of sample programs are provided with the system. Each trainer is supplied with built-in power supply.
Acceleration of Geared Systems Apparatus
Sci-tech Acceleration of Geared Systems Apparatus Model MT 059 basically consists of three shafts, each mounted on ball races and connected by gearing. A flywheel is attached to one of the shafts.
The discs having varying mass moments of inertia can be attached to the other two shafts. It permits to change the gear ratios. Gears of suitable sizes are provided. A torque drum is mounted in each shaft and by means of masses or weights, attached to one of the drums with a cord, allow a way to apply a torque to the system.
The acceleration of the system can be calculated.
Adjustable Bed Flow Channel Unit
The Sci-tech Adjustable Bed Flow Channel Unit Model FM 32 is suitable for demonstrations and teaching of open channel flows. By closing the top of the channel, the unit can also be used to demonstrate duct flows. The complete unit is mounted on a mobile platform fixed on castor wheels. The apparatus is self sufficient with water recirculation system consisting of flow inlet tank, centrifugal pump, flow control valves, discharge tank, water flow meter and sump tank. The inlet tank consists of baffle plate and screens to reduce disturbances in the flow. The discharge tank consists of adjustable over flow weir which can be adjusted to control flow conditions in the working section.
